Auchan receives the Friend of Customers award for good customer relationship practices

After a long process of research and verification, ICERTIAS (International Certification Association) awarded Auchan Retail Romania the international distinction Customers ‘Friend and Customers’ Friend – Superior Excellence, thus confirming the implementation and compliance with good practices of the customer relationship.

In order to obtain these certifications, the company was evaluated in a market study based on four major criteria: reputation, communication, customer experience and trust. Auchan thus obtained high scores in all the sections analyzed. Regarding the reputation of the brand, the relationship with customers, employees, business partners, but also innovation, financial stability, the quality of products and services on the market, competitiveness and social responsibility were analyzed. At the same time, the company’s communication services were also analyzed, both media relations and traditional and digital communication, as well as the customer experience in terms of intuitiveness, simplicity, durability and availability. Finally, the ICERTIAS analysis also consisted of verifying customer confidence in Auchan, by evaluating the competence, reliability, integrity and transparency of Auchan Retail Romania.

Auchan is the food specialist who has constantly adapted its offer to consumer behavior, by developing the Auchan sectors, ranges of local products, private label products and products manufactured in its own laboratories. The company has also set up a multitude of delivery methods for online orders on auchan.ro or from the Auchan application, adapting to the current context (Drive, Click & Collect, national home deliveries via the Romanian Post, Takeaway.com, Glovo, foodpanda etc.). In 2020, Auchan became actively involved in society by setting up two medical support units for patients with non-critical forms of Covid-19 and is currently continuously implementing social responsibility projects. Auchan also holds the Safe Guard certification which confirms the proper respect and implementation of good security practices against the spread of COVID-19.
