City Customer Relations Department. becomes mobile this week in these areas

The Cape TownCustomer Relations Services will set up mobile offices at Sea Winds and Tokai respectively this week.

On July 21, 2022, the service will take place at Sea Winds Multi-Purpose Hall, St Stephen Road at Sea Winds between 9.30am and 1.30pm.

On July 22, 2022, the service will be held at Tokai Library, Tokai Road, Tokai, between 9:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.

Customer relations officers stationed in mobile offices will be able to respond to municipal account inquiries, including rates, sewer, hydro, water, garbage collection, and nest-related inquiries -of chicken. They will also respond to general inquiries relating to municipal parks, urban waste, property management, appraisals and all other general enquiries.

Alderman Theresa Uys, a member of the town mayor’s committee for business services, said: “The mobile office is one of the ways we bring our services to residents, giving them the opportunity to inquire and resolving issues without having to spend time and money on transportation. To date, it has been effective in resolving long-outstanding inquiries for residents. As such, we encourage residents to take advantage of of this opportunity and to come and chat with the officials. We remind residents to please bring their IDs and/or municipal accounts to facilitate the process. We will communicate in due course on future visits.”
