Manheim Central Dispatch finds a new customer relations partner – Remarketing

With tight inventories and record wholesale values, dealers are buying vehicles more than ever through digital wholesale channels. This has resulted in an increase in the number of vehicles transported, as well as an increase in the average distance traveled by vehicles.

As part of its drive to simplify the automotive logistics supply chain, Manheim Logistics announced on December 9 that it has partnered with BATS CRM as the preferred broker of customer relationship management services for Central Dispatch, according to a press release.

As the country’s largest transportation market, Manheim’s Central Dispatch connects shippers and carriers to keep the automotive supply chain in motion. BATS CRM was selected because of its advanced technology, mobile device support, and all-inclusive toolset.

“In today’s wholesale market, having a highly efficient automotive logistics supply chain has never been more important,” Joe Kichler, vice president of Manheim Logistics, said in the release. “We’re committed to helping our customers be as efficient as possible – and that starts with having the right technology in place. “

This new integration is timely. With tight inventories and record wholesale values, dealers are buying vehicles more than ever through digital wholesale channels. This has resulted in an increase in the number of vehicles transported, as well as an increase in the average distance traveled by vehicles. In 2021, Manheim Logistics saw the average vehicle travel distance double, from 225 miles in the first quarter of 2020 to 460 average miles in the third quarter of 2021.

As brokers move more vehicles over longer distances, having the right technology is essential to connect to the country’s largest transportation market. As Central Dispatch’s preferred CRM broker, BATS CRM has built unique integration capabilities not available in other CRM solutions, enabling customers to:

  • Publish and update orders without browser plugins or email scanners
  • Get automatic order status updates as carriers mark them as picked up or delivered
  • View all carriers available on Central Dispatch directly in BATS

“BATS is committed to continuously developing cutting-edge solutions that will help our customers run more efficient and profitable businesses,” said Tom Kustura, CEO of BATS CRM.

BATS CRM offers customers the ability to automate common and repetitive tasks, such as email notifications and lead pricing, to save time and provide a higher level of service to customers. It also natively supports working from mobile devices. So no matter where customers are, they can still run their business. Everything from an electronic document signing platform to automated messaging campaigns, invoicing, secure credit card storage, fully managed pricing engine, reporting, commission tracking and more is included in the BATS system.
