Marketplacer embeds Yotpo to track customer reviews

Marketplacer has signed a partnership agreement with e-commerce marketing platform Yotpo to provide functionality for sellers and consumers and help Yotpo expand its reach in the market economy.

Yotpo helps brands drive growth by creating engaging experiences to build lasting relationships with customers. Its integrated solutions for reviews, visual user-generated content (UGC), rewards and referrals enable businesses to win new audiences using the voice of their customers.

Yotpo’s head of partnerships, Rad Mitic, says the collaboration with Marketplacer solves a long-standing issue that will unlock revenue for sellers.

“It’s a game-changer for Australian e-commerce marketplaces, although it seems like an obvious feature,” says Mitic. “The complexity of collecting product-specific reviews from marketplaces makes it nearly impossible to offer shoppers accurate social proof, even with an incredible team of engineers.”

Prior to the partnership, Marketplacer customers were unable to gauge sentiment on their products and requested options to gather product-level reviews.

Yotpo’s in-depth analytics dashboard informs merchants on Marketplacer to get a solid overview of how their products are received by shoppers.

Medcart CEO Dylan Bookless said his company decided to select Yotpo over other review platforms because of its integration with Marketplacer.

“At this time we are seen as the retailer and not the marketplace and the addition of seller reviews means that we will now be able to inform consumers that we are a marketplace and not the retailer,” says Bookless .

Yotpo’s functionality for Marketplacer means that sellers can now establish real social proof and trust, and they can reach more customers, top sales conversion factors and loyal customers.

“We partnered with Yotpo for several reasons, including their market leadership, focus on innovation, and ability to disrupt the future of market functionality in the critical areas of social proof, online reputation and sales conversion support,” said John Mullins, Marketplacer Alliance Director. .

“At the same time, this partnership allows our two organizations to further diversify and expand our sales channels while providing Marketplacer customers such as SurfStich, Providor and Barbeques Galore the ability to collect product-specific reviews” , Mitic said.

“Most importantly, we are now giving consumers a channel to express their valuable feedback. We are so excited and proud to be able to fill the void and provide sellers with insights and data that can transform businesses. »
